(NOTE: Lunch is NOT provided, and students who are travelling to Jasper must please arrange/book their own accommodation. If you arebooking accommodation is advised to do so as soon as possible as the Retreat is during the May Long Weekend! A more specific itinerary of the day will also be sent out to participants just prior to the retreat!)

Come join SHAMBHAVI HUGHES and special guest Ian Dalwood

for a 1-Day Classical Kundalini Yoga and Meditation Retreat in the beautifully scenic Jasper, Alberta! Throughout the day, students will journey through learning about, discussing andpracticing both Classical Kundalini Yoga and various forms of Meditation, including seated meditation, walking meditation, eating meditation and the practice of Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep). If the weather holds up for us, we will enjoy lunch together outside 'picnic style' and then afterwards head off towards nature to enjoy a short walking meditation together! And if the weather keeps us in, we will simply keep these parts of our day indoors and will still enjoy together in that way instead.

Live music, provided by Ian Dalwood, will also accompany certain parts of the workshop to helps students soothe and relax along with the beautiful sounding vibrations! This will be a day full of sharing, learning, practicing, music, laughter and fun! This will also be a day of intention setting, deepening our awareness and practices, letting go, surrendering and re-connecting back to our true selves. It is the heart-felt intention of this retreat to allow students the time to nourish, release, deepen, re-new 're-charge', re-center and re-connect back to the limitless,eternal well of bliss that resides within us all.

Shambhavi has been heart-fully immersed in practicing andteaching yoga and meditation since 2009. She is 500-hr trained in Akhanda Yoga (Holistic Hatha Yoga), certified as a Yoga Lifestyle Coach, completed trainings in Ayurveda and has a B.Ed. She loves to sift through the yogic teachings to see what they have to offer ALL people. Her passion for yoga lies in its ability to connect us back to a place of simplicity, playfulness and bliss — our purest nature!

IAN DALWOOD

Special Guest

Ian is a passionate Holistic Nutritionist, a 200-hr trained Yoga Teacher, and a talented musician! He is very excited to be a special guest in this retreat, and will graciously share a few 'Soulful Eating Tips' over lunch as well as accompany small parts of the day with beautiful, healing sounds from both the guitar and a crystal singing bowl!
